Our Dining for a Cause fundraiser was held at the Ninety-Nine Restaurant on Thursday, April 11, 2019.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at this event. It was great so see so many familiar faces and also meet new people. Thanks to those came and ate, those who came for a drink, those that just popped in to say hello, those that ordered take-out, and those that wanted to come but were not able to. We appreciate all of our supporters and thank you for honoring Wesley!
Wesley’s Way Foundation is proud to adopt a bench in honor of Wesley at Dowdy Park in Nags Head, NC.
Dowdy Park offers 5 acres of recreation for every age and every ability. It has an ampitheater, a fitness trail, and an inclusive playground.
During our visit to North Carolina in April 2018, Wesley really enjoyed playing at this playground.
We hope that by supporting Dowdy Park, children of all ages can enjoy this recreational area for many years to come.
In honor of Wesley, Wesley’s Way Foundation has donated 75 toys and 42 books to the Salvation Army through a program we are calling Wesley’s Wheels.
Wesley loved playing with cars, trucks, and any other toys that had wheels. He had many books that were about cars and trucks, and many of those even had wheels too!
Our foundation chose to donate these toys so that children in need can also enjoy some of the same toys that brought Wesley so much joy.
The community of the Outer Banks has shown so much love for our family and even more love for Wesley. The community has supported and embraced our family and they have fallen in love with Wesley, even though they never met him.
The season of Thanksgiving is about being grateful and thankful. Wesleyβs Way Foundation wanted to do just that for Dare County and give our support to the Beach Food Pantry with helping to provide meals to those in the community.
From the Beach Food Pantry:
Special thanks to Wesley’s Way Foundation for sponsoring 18 Thanksgiving bags for this weekend’s distribution to clients. This gift was in memory of Wesley Belisle. His family is thankful for all the people in Dare County that were there for them in their time of need. So, they wanted to be there for others in our area in our clients’ time of need. And, we wore orange for Wesley on Wednesday!
The town of Chester, New Hampshire has been very generous and supportive with the beginning of this foundation. The holiday season is approaching, and Wesleyβs Way Foundation has assisted the Chester Food Pantry with helping to provide meals to those in the community.
To encourage literacy and education, Wesley’s Way Foundation has just helped to provide educational items to seven Manchester NH classrooms!
Books, blocks, puzzles, writing, coloring, math – these are all things Wesley enjoyed, so we wanted to give other children in our community the opportunity to learn through these activities as well!

Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students will greatly benefit from these materials which help them become more proficient writers. Becoming a more proficient writer will also allow them to become more proficient readers, which will help instill a life-long love of reading and writing. Thank you again on behalf of my students!

We are especially grateful that our project was funded in honor of a little boy that loved books. As a mom and teacher it makes my heart full to know that these books could be the ones that spark a love of reading for one of my students! We will have a special author display with these Andrew Clement books and do book talks for each one creating a lot of excitement before voting on which one they’d like to read together.
These books will be read and loved for years to come. Thank you on behalf of all our kids.
With gratitude,
Mrs. L.
