Wesley’s Way Foundation wants every person who goes near the water to be safe so they can make it home to their family.
To help promote water safety, Wesley’s Way has funded the printing of 10,000 water safety information cards that will be distributed throughout the Outer Banks starting this swimming season.
This is one of the water safety card designs:
Summertime can be hard on some children who rely on their school to provide them with breakfast and lunch. Nutritious, well-balanced meals are very important for child development.
Wesley’s Way Foundation is very pleased to help the Beach Food Pantry of Dare County, NC with their Summer Food for Kids program. The Beach Food Pantry will now be able to provide dairy products in their Summer Food for Kids program.
Wesley’s Way Foundation would like to say thank you to all our wonderful donors who have helped to make this possible. Wesley loved to help others, and he would be so happy to help other children have healthy summer meals.
Our Friendly’s fundraiser was held at the Manchester, NH restaurant on Thursday, May 23, 2019.
Thank you to everyone who supported us by attending this event. It was great seeing you there!

Our Dining for a Cause fundraiser was held at the Ninety-Nine Restaurant on Thursday, April 11, 2019.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at this event. It was great so see so many familiar faces and also meet new people. Thanks to those came and ate, those who came for a drink, those that just popped in to say hello, those that ordered take-out, and those that wanted to come but were not able to. We appreciate all of our supporters and thank you for honoring Wesley!
Wesley’s Way Foundation is proud to adopt a bench in honor of Wesley at Dowdy Park in Nags Head, NC.
Dowdy Park offers 5 acres of recreation for every age and every ability. It has an ampitheater, a fitness trail, and an inclusive playground.
During our visit to North Carolina in April 2018, Wesley really enjoyed playing at this playground.
We hope that by supporting Dowdy Park, children of all ages can enjoy this recreational area for many years to come.
In honor of Wesley, Wesley’s Way Foundation has donated 75 toys and 42 books to the Salvation Army through a program we are calling Wesley’s Wheels.
Wesley loved playing with cars, trucks, and any other toys that had wheels. He had many books that were about cars and trucks, and many of those even had wheels too!
Our foundation chose to donate these toys so that children in need can also enjoy some of the same toys that brought Wesley so much joy.
The community of the Outer Banks has shown so much love for our family and even more love for Wesley. The community has supported and embraced our family and they have fallen in love with Wesley, even though they never met him.
The season of Thanksgiving is about being grateful and thankful. Wesley’s Way Foundation wanted to do just that for Dare County and give our support to the Beach Food Pantry with helping to provide meals to those in the community.
From the Beach Food Pantry:
Special thanks to Wesley’s Way Foundation for sponsoring 18 Thanksgiving bags for this weekend’s distribution to clients. This gift was in memory of Wesley Belisle. His family is thankful for all the people in Dare County that were there for them in their time of need. So, they wanted to be there for others in our area in our clients’ time of need. And, we wore orange for Wesley on Wednesday!
The town of Chester, New Hampshire has been very generous and supportive with the beginning of this foundation. The holiday season is approaching, and Wesley’s Way Foundation has assisted the Chester Food Pantry with helping to provide meals to those in the community.
