With children out of school indefinitely due to the pandemic, Wesley’s Way wants to ensure that children are still being fed. Many children depend on meals received at school, which poses a problem when the schools are closed.

The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester is developing plans to prepare and deliver meals to children in the city. At Wesley’s Way, we think this is a valuable effort, so we have provided some financial support to help make this happen.

Wesley’s Way Foundation is proud to donate 127 toys and 55 books as part of the Salvation Army’s Toy Shop in 2019!

This is our second year providing toys and books to children for the holiday season.

Our foundation was also grateful to participate in the setup of the toy shop and with the distribution of toys to the families who attended the event.

Wesleys Way Foundation is proud to support the Manchester Police Athletic League.

We recently took a tour of their beautiful facility in downtown Manchester, and were amazed by the work they do for the youth in our community.

Since we were so impressed, the foundation decided to help them fund an upcoming project of their choosing.

Since one of the goals of Wesley’s Way Foundation is to help children, we have donated a food serving rack to the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester.

Last school year, the Boys & Girls Club served close to 8,000 dinners!

“As our membership numbers continue to grow, so does the demand for meals. Helping us obtain an enclosed food rack will help alleviate some of the congestion the kitchen faces during food preparation and meal distribution. It also creates a safer environment for our kids as it alleviates the exposure of hot pans laying on open, flat surfaces.
Thank you for supporting our food program in honor of Wesley”.

To help students in our community, Wesley’s Way Foundation has donated reusable water bottles for Bakersville and Hallsville students. These students are attending a summer program through the 21st Century Community Learning Center in Manchester, NH.

21st Century Community Learning Centers after-school and summer programs envision a community where all students are inspired to reach their full potential academically, socially, and personally through the support of the program, families, and the community. They are committed to providing an affordable, secure, and safe environment during out-of-school time.

Summertime can be hard on some children who rely on their school to provide them with breakfast and lunch. Nutritious, well-balanced meals are very important for child development.

Wesley’s Way Foundation is very pleased to help the Beach Food Pantry of Dare County, NC with their Summer Food for Kids program. The Beach Food Pantry will now be able to provide dairy products in their Summer Food for Kids program.

Wesley’s Way Foundation would like to say thank you to all our wonderful donors who have helped to make this possible. Wesley loved to help others, and he would be so happy to help other children have healthy summer meals.

In honor of Wesley, Wesley’s Way Foundation has donated 75 toys and 42 books to the Salvation Army through a program we are calling Wesley’s Wheels.

Wesley loved playing with cars, trucks, and any other toys that had wheels.  He had many books that were about cars and trucks, and many of those even had wheels too!

Our foundation chose to donate these toys so that children in need can also enjoy some of the same toys that brought Wesley so much joy.

The community of the Outer Banks has shown so much love for our family and even more love for Wesley.  The community has supported and embraced our family and they have fallen in love with Wesley, even though they never met him.

The season of Thanksgiving is about being grateful and thankful.  Wesley’s Way Foundation wanted to do just that for Dare County and give our support to the Beach Food Pantry with helping to provide meals to those in the community.

From the Beach Food Pantry:

Special thanks to Wesley’s Way Foundation for sponsoring 18 Thanksgiving bags for this weekend’s distribution to clients. This gift was in memory of Wesley Belisle. His family is thankful for all the people in Dare County that were there for them in their time of need. So, they wanted to be there for others in our area in our clients’ time of need. And, we wore orange for Wesley on Wednesday!
